Acceptable Use Policy for AI-generated content and services on Img2Vid.

Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: September 9, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets the content and conduct rules for Img2Vid. It applies to anyone using our website, applications, APIs, AI generation tools, chat, Apps, workflows, or related services. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

You are responsible for your prompts, source materials, generated outputs, and the way you use or distribute those outputs. Do not use Img2Vid to create, upload, transform, store, publish, or distribute content that violates this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy covers all material and activity processed through Img2Vid, including:

  • Prompts, instructions, chat messages, and structured API inputs
  • Uploaded images, video, audio, documents, and other source materials
  • Generated or edited images, video, audio, speech, transcripts, text, and other outputs
  • Apps, workflows, API integrations, automated generation activity, and account conduct

2. Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

The following restrictions apply whether material is fully AI-generated, AI-edited, or supplied as an input for transformation.

2.1 Pornography / NSFW

Do not generate, upload, transform, or distribute pornographic, sexually explicit, sexually exploitative, or other NSFW material. This includes sexualized nudity, explicit sexual acts, sexual abuse, non-consensual sexual content, and sexual exploitation.

2.2 Violence / Gore

Do not generate, upload, transform, or distribute graphic violence, gore, mutilation, dismemberment, torture, realistic depictions of severe injury or death, or content that glorifies, encourages, or facilitates extreme violence. Non-graphic material in legitimate educational, documentary, news, historical, or fictional contexts may still be restricted where it creates a material safety risk.

2.3 Hate Speech

Do not create or distribute content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, discrimination, exclusion, harassment, or violence against a person or group because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or another protected characteristic.

2.4 Child Unsafe Content (CSAM)

Img2Vid has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and content that sexualizes, exploits, abuses, grooms, endangers, or facilitates harm to a minor. The prohibition includes fictional, illustrated, animated, photorealistic, edited, and AI-generated depictions. Claimed consent, apparent age, or artistic framing does not make this material permitted.

2.5 Deepfakes / Impersonation

Do not create or distribute non-consensual or deceptive deepfakes, face swaps, voice clones, synthetic identities, or other material that impersonates a real person, organization, or public authority. This includes fraud, harassment, reputational harm, non-consensual sexual content, fabricated endorsements, election deception, and misleading claims about a work's source or authenticity.

Do not use Img2Vid to unlawfully reproduce, imitate, transform, or distribute copyrighted works, protected characters, trademarks, logos, trade dress, or other intellectual property. You must have the rights, licenses, permissions, and consents required for uploaded material and for the intended use of generated outputs.

3. Zero-Tolerance and Other Prohibited Uses

The following may result in immediate restriction or termination and, where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities:

  • CSAM, child exploitation, grooming, or credible threats to child safety
  • Terrorism, violent extremism, genocide, ethnic cleansing, or mass violence
  • Instructions intended to enable weapons of mass destruction or serious violent crime
  • Non-consensual sexual deepfakes or intimate imagery targeting a real person
  • Credible threats of imminent physical harm

You also must not:

  • Use Img2Vid for fraud, scams, phishing, malware, spam, or deceptive commercial activity
  • Create instructions that facilitate serious wrongdoing, dangerous acts, or self-harm
  • Expose another person's private, confidential, biometric, or identifying information without lawful authority
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, blackmail, or exploit another person
  • Present AI-generated content as authentic human-created or real-world evidence when doing so would be deceptive or unlawful
  • Attempt to bypass safety controls through obfuscation, prompt injection, coded language, automated retries, or other evasion techniques
  • Use Img2Vid in violation of applicable law, regulation, court order, or another person's rights

4. Content Moderation

Img2Vid uses a layered moderation process that may combine automated safeguards, safety controls supplied by underlying AI providers, usage records, and manual review of reports and material safety signals.

4.1 Automated Safeguards

Supported generation requests may be screened before dispatch for clearly prohibited sexual, exploitative, violent, or otherwise unsafe instructions. Underlying AI providers may independently apply safety systems to requests and outputs. A request may be blocked before generation, and a provider may reject or stop a generation for safety reasons.

Automated safeguards have limitations: they can produce false positives and can fail to identify a violation. Their use does not transfer responsibility for content from you to Img2Vid.

4.2 Manual Review

Authorized personnel may review reports and material safety signals. Review may consider reporter-supplied information, relevant prompts or source material, associated outputs, generation and account records, prior enforcement history, and other evidence reasonably necessary to reach a decision.

We consider context, severity, intent, potential harm, applicable law, and whether conduct is repeated or coordinated. Critical child-safety issues, credible threats, and suspected criminal activity receive priority handling.

4.3 Moderation Outcomes

After review, Img2Vid may determine that material is permitted, requires additional context, violates this Policy, or should be escalated for further investigation. We may update safeguards and enforcement practices as abuse patterns, service capabilities, and legal obligations evolve.

5. Reporting Violations

To report content or activity that may violate this Policy, email support@img2vid.net with the subject "Acceptable Use Policy Report." Include, when available:

  • The relevant Img2Vid URL, generation ID, task ID, or account identifier
  • The prohibited-content category you believe applies
  • A concise description of the suspected violation
  • Supporting screenshots or other lawful evidence
  • Your contact information
  • For impersonation or intellectual-property reports, your relationship to the affected person, organization, or rights

Do not download, preserve, attach, or forward suspected CSAM or other illegal media. Instead, provide the relevant URL or task identifier and a concise description so it can be handled safely.

We handle reports as confidentially as reasonably possible. Information may be disclosed where necessary to investigate, enforce this Policy, protect users, comply with law, or respond to lawful requests. Knowingly malicious or materially false reports may result in restrictions.

6. Review and Processing

Our reporting workflow is generally to receive and record a report, triage it by severity and urgency, review available evidence, document a decision, apply proportionate enforcement or escalation, and notify affected parties when appropriate and legally permitted.

We do not promise a fixed response time because investigations vary. We aim to act without unreasonable delay, with priority for child safety, credible threats, terrorism, and imminent harm.

7. Enforcement

Depending on the severity, context, and history of a violation, Img2Vid may:

  • Block or stop a generation request
  • Remove, disable, or restrict access to content under our control
  • Issue a warning or require corrective action
  • Restrict models, APIs, Apps, workflows, generation limits, or other features
  • Temporarily suspend an account while a matter is reviewed
  • Permanently terminate an account for severe or repeated violations
  • Preserve relevant records where lawful and reasonably necessary
  • Report suspected illegal activity and cooperate with lawful investigations

Critical child-safety violations, non-consensual sexual deepfakes, credible threats, and serious criminal activity may result in immediate termination without prior warning.

8. Appeals

If you believe an enforcement decision was made in error, email support@img2vid.net with the subject "AUP Enforcement Appeal." Include the relevant account or task identifier, the decision being appealed, and the reasons and evidence supporting reconsideration.

Where practicable, an appeal is reviewed by a person who was not the sole decision-maker in the original review. An appeal does not suspend measures needed to protect users, preserve evidence, or comply with law.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy as our services, abuse risks, moderation capabilities, and legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised Policy.
